Description
Provide the client with decision support analytics to support the Navy Maritime Domain Awareness. Provide capabilities-based analysis to support the development and implementation of Navy and Defense Maritime Domain Awareness strategy. Create reports and briefings highlighting analytic processes and recommendations for clients. Develop and track metrics relating to strategy and policy implementation. Provide analysis to identify and define required capabilities. Assess potential solutions to satisfy requirements.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience in working with the industry or government or 5+ years of experience with an MA or MS degree
-Experience with Maritime Domain Awareness, data sharing, data analysis, requirements development, JCIDS, capabilities-based assessment, program assessments, or operations analysis
-Experience in the Navy with military, civilian, or contractor personnel-Experience with Navy operational fleet and surface warfare
-Ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks with minimal direction
-Ability to actively participate in regular direct client interactions in support of project delivery
-Ability to deliver presentations and lead client meetings
-Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with at least 5+ of those years in a managerial capacity preferred
-Experience on the OPNAV staff-Experience in working with Maritime Domain Awareness or Maritime Operations Centers-Experience in working with maritime security matters-Experience with working in Navy Headquarters, including OPNAV, SECNAV, SYSCOMS, or PEOs-Experience with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint staff, or COCOM staff-Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
-Experience with C4ISR, CPIC, Enterprise Architectures, Standards, Governance, Policy, or Information Assurance and Security
-Possession of excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
