Navy plans to acquire offshore patrol vessel for ocean surveillance
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday said his government is in the process of acquiring an Offshore Patrol Vessel for surveillance of the country’s Indian Ocean Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
Speaking in the coastal city of Mombasa at the International Agriculture Show, Kenyatta said the government has allocated about 910 million U.S. dollars for this purpose.
