KARACHI: A two-member delegation of Indian women will arrive in Pakistan on August 26 to thank the people of Pakistan, media and Ansar Burney Trust International chairman Ansar Burney for their role in getting released crew from the captivity of Somali pirates.
The delegation consists of Sampa Arya, a noted poetess who is known for talking to the Pakistani media in her unique style, and Madhoo Sharma. It may be recalled that the crew of a ship held hostage by Somali pirates was released after efforts of Ansar Burney. Laila Wasey, daughter of the captain of MV Suez vessel, will accompany Ansar Burney to welcome the Indian guests.
